PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL

AMC INTERNATIONAL RECALLS "GOURMET-LINE 11.9 L COOKING POT"

AMC is recalling cooking pots from the “Gourmet-Line 11,9 L Cooking Pot” model series (Unit: 10046170), originating from production batch 07/2024. This batch can be identified by the code “42074”, which is stamped on the bottom of the pot. The product was sold through distributors.

 

WHY IS THIS PRODUCT BEING RECALLED?

The handle assemblies of some cooking pots from the 11,9L, 28 cm diameter model series, batch 07/2024, do not meet the required load-bearing standard. As a result, the handle may detach during use, posing a risk of hot-liquid spills and potential burn or impact injuries.

REQUIRED ACTIONS FOR COSTUMERS

If your product is identified as affected, please discontinue use immediately. In this case, we kindly ask you to contact your distributor or us. You will be informed by e-mail about the specific procedure for return.

REMEDIES FOR COSTUMERS

AMC will examine the returned products. If your cooking pot is found to be affected, AMC will contact you immediately and provide one of the following remedies free of charge:

• Repair of the affected cookware to restore full compliance with the applicable safety and performance requirements; or
• Replacement of the affected cookware with a new product of the same type that meets all applicable safety and quality specifications.

Customers will be informed by e-mail  about the specific procedure for repair or replacement.
